Later on, Burgundian Vineyards gives them a slow but guaranteed gold trickle once researched. Adding on to their cavalry strengths is their economy, as they can research all economic upgrades one Age earlier with 2/3rds the food price normally required, giving them a slow but incredible economy. In additon to this, they have access to the Cavalier in the Castle Age, granting them arguably the strongest Knight rush in the game. Their cheaper Scout and Knight line upgrades will make them easier to fully upgrade, especially the expensive Paladin upgrade. The Coustillier can charge its attack, which allows it to deal incredible amounts of damage, and they can then run away and rebuild their charge. They have prominent cavalry units such as Hussars, Paladins, and their unique unit, the Coustillier. The Burgundians are a cavalry civilization.
